Short but scenic
By ilbob in February, 2012
This is basically a scenic connector trail between the Hononegah Recreational Path and the Stone Bridge Trail. It also connects to the Leland Path at Elevator Road and Main Street. It is short but runs along the creek the whole way, and is contained inside a band of hardwoods.

Wilma and I walked it as part of a loop that included the Stone Bridge Trail, the Leland Path, a short section of the Hononegah path, and the Kinstone path. I posted some pictures and video on my blog. http://ilbob.blogspot.com/2012/01/stone-bridge-trail-leland-path-kinstone.html We had a very nice walk on this path. I am pretty sure we will be back some time.

A very nice and scenic short walk would be to combine the Kinstone Path and the section of the Hononegah Path east of route 251. The Hononegah path ends at Elevator Road and Main Street where the Kinstone Path starts. You could park at Burger King at the corner of 251 and Hononegah Road and go south and east on the Hononegah path and then catch the Kinstone path to the Stone Bridge Trail, and then head back. It would be just a little under 2.5 miles round trip. This whole route runs along the creek through nice wooded areas. You could also park at the Roscoe Township offices on Elevator Road and walk north a few blocks to the Kinstone Path and walk it the other way. Just as scenic, and a little longer that way.
