Trail Website (www.ridgetrail.org)
The Bay Area Ridge Trail is a multiuse trail along the ridgelines surrounding California's San Francisco Bay. When complete, the 550+ mile Ridge Trail will connect over 75 parks and open spaces throughout the nine county Bay Area providing close to home recreation opportunities for a diverse population. Currently, 315 miles of trail are dedicated and protected for people to enjoy, now and forever. Thousands of people walk, run, or ride bicycles or horses on the trail each year. The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is a nonprofit organization that plans, acquires, builds, maintains, and promotes the trail. For more information about the Ridge Trail or Council activities, please visit the website or contact info@ridgetrail.org or (415) 561-2595.
