Built in 1915 by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, this station was where passengers disembarked on their way to the town’s hot springs. It replaced a wooden structure that had served Berkeley Springs since the B&O’s arrival in 1888. The railroad suspended passenger service in 1935, and in recent years Berkeley Springs has been restoring the depot for use by the community, potentially as a welcome center or museum.
