Ken Sinsel’s steel band serenade passers-by.

This sculpture by local artist Ken Sinsel was named in a contest that solicited suggestions from residents. The winning name, “Millie Steele and the Blasters,” reflects the enduring influence of the area’s industrial past and the pride that Weirton residents take in its legacy.
