Lakelands Trail State Park Fine for bikes! By Dave in 11/20/2005 12:00:00 AM | I rode this trail on my MTB and I would suggest that the criticism regarding poor conditions for bikes must be coming from horse people to discourage use by bikes. It's in good condition and the only reason I saw for incompatibility was 3 groups of horses each with bike shy animals. Columbia Trail Open from High Bridge By Dave in 2/12/2004 12:00:00 AM | "The trail section from High Bridge to the Morris County border has been graded and re-surfaced. It is now open and the ride is quite smooth. It was closed for a year, but the improvement has been worth the wait." However, after seeing how smooth the ride was and how beautiful the scenery was I was very pleased. I'm not sure how far the path goes. I went from Easton to somewhere near Bethlehem.
