High Line The big view and the little details... By cathydew in 11/7/2009 10:06:30 PM | We so enjoyed walking on this trail when we visited New York in early September. We had read about it in the Times and decided to check it out. It was quite an amazing feeling to be walking above the city streets. The view of the Hudson is spectacular. The day we were there, a volunteer was working on the wildflowers and herbs planted along the way, and these were quite wonderful. It's a very unique combination of the urban cityscape with the organic landscape of the wild plants and flowers planted in the beds created by old railroad ties.
