I rode this trail in the October of 2005. Great trail for the cyclocross bike. I rode the full trail up and back on two seperate days on my cyclocross bike. There were bear tracks on the trail. It was nice and I had planned ahead but it rained both days. Rode it anyway and found it to be very scenic. Stayed at the PennWellsHotel in Wellsboro. Great nitelife there too. A great place to visit in the fall. Also the trout fishing on Pine Creek is supposed to be very good.

"I've ridden this track many times, but have not seen any deer. Today I got out early, riding by 8:00AM and saw a bunch. Have Fun and Keep Riding!!"

This trail is two miles from gate to gate. At the roughly half-way point is a white box on a telephone pole on the west side of the road. It's always a cool hike or bike on a hot summer day.

A great trail going north through Farmington into Simsbury. The Farmington River bridge is beautiful. These trails are one the best things CT has done in years! Sunset rides are great for the family.

I have kick-biked the trail numerous times and ran out and back once. What a great place to train and have fun. It is a nice wide pathway.

I thought the trail was well maintained and was amongst some pretty wild flowers and birds. I especially liked stopping in Gobles for lunch and the covered brdige was very nice.

"We enjoyed the trail from High Falls to Kingston but we're disappointed not to be able to find the rest of it. We did find, a week later, the section from Kerhonkson to Rochester Park, (beautiful wooded area!) but couldn't find anything in Ellenville. It isn't paved, but can be biked by beginners...."

the area from butler to herman is passible but about one milr south to freeport is impassible due to a barricade adjacent to a golf course hope this problem is corrected soon so butler people can enjoy the beauty of this area the presidnt judge issued a ruling on july 3lst 2000 that all obstruction are to be removed along the 21 mile stretch this litigation has been going on for years time will pass summit twp by as the other three townships have promoted the trail and benefited from this effort please contact your summit twp supervisors that do not have a vested interest to accept this treasure for future generations thank you
