Nice ride once you get across Avenue "T". The city of Winter Haven says an overpass for the trail will be built at a future date. The trail head or beginning of the trail is downtown then crosses several streets before approaching avenue "T". Once you are north of "T", the trail passes by a cemetery, an old fruit packing house and an area known as Lake Ida. Heads up from that point on, this area should be patrolled as it feels unsafe. The trail crosses a nice bridge over a canal and terminates at Highway 92 in Lake Alfred.

Nice trail that begins at the trail head on Denton Avenue, Auburndale. Nice parking area with restrooms and a dog park nearby. This trail heads north passing through the Auburndale sports complex area then under I-4 and eventually becomes the Van Fleet Trail at the trail head in Polk City. The TECO trail crosses Pace Road with a nice bike path not mentioned anywhere else, that goes west to the future Polytechnic College area. That leg goes for several miles, I rode it for a couple of miles and turned around. Otherwise stay on the TECO trail and you will end up in Polk City at the trail head of Van FLeet.

Started in Polk City, and rode north. Beautiful ride, just Florida woods and pastures and a straight road. Plenty of rest spots with benches. Country quiet.

Nice trail. I put in at Highland City and rode to Bartow and back. Nice rest area with bathrooms in Highland City. Benches along the way. Another time I put in at the Circle B reserve and rode out to the Fraser and then north to the Sheriffs sub station near the USF and Polk State campus. There is parking behind the sub station and also in Highland City.
