I rode this trail today. Left good about the trail.
There is ample parking right at the start of the trail.
The trail is marked for the distance also for the bumps and cracks.
This trail kind of goes along a river, it was wonderful to stop and watch the water.
There is an extremly busy road after 9 miles or so which I had to wait for a long time to cross.
There is no walk sign, we are to cross if the cars stop for us. The road is big too.
Rode this trail for about two time now.

This trail turned out to be much more than I expected. I had plans to Hike Wapack trail, slept through the morning so had to cancel my plans. I was wondering where to go hiking, could not find many places as the Sun sets early these days. I wanted to try this trail for quite some time. I was in no mood to bike. Left the Bike with car and decided to walk the trail. I was a little doubtfull about the trail to startwith as it looked like the trail was unmaintained. I was totally wrong. Walking on this trail is like walking in the woods.
There are houses on one side and trees on the other. It was quite, lot of trees on either side, chirping of the birds, rough path, secluded trail -- was wonderful. There are about 3 wild life conservation areas along this trail. When I was walking back I took a detour into two of the wild life conservation areas. It was worth. There are few more trails amidst the woods. These trails look like they are really into the deep forest like areas and they are marked. Could hear many birds chirping and flying around.I could not walk all the trails but took about a couple of them.My desire to hike in the woods was satisfied as this trail did give me the feeling.

I bike the Cape Cod trail atleast once every Summer.
I don't have anything to say as the previous reviewers have described the trail already.
I start to bike the trail from Dennis in the mornings so I will reach Wellfleet before noon.
I rest in the beach , eat food nearby as the shops are accessible and bike back to Dennis.
Than the other trails that I have biked, I see a lot of bikers on this trail.. I bike Cape Cod and Chatham trail on the same day which adds about 64-65 miles on to my bike.
If you are near CapeCod and you bike, then it is worth biking Cape Cod trail

This trail is about 80 miles from where I live. I still went to bike as it was a gorgeous and day and I know Amherst is really a good place. The cracks, bumps and the holes on the trail are marked.
Most of the trail is under the shadow with the trees. I biked on a Saturday so the trail was occupied.
There is one road which is busy and no walk sign either. We have to wait for the cars to see us and allow us to cross. As I use traillink.com very often I decided to bike the NorthHampton trail also which is a connecting trail. This is a short trail which runs behind the buildings , but this trail also is good.
Well maintained. When I got to the end of the current NorthHampton trail , I saw a map with the proposed extension of the trail. I could also see the continuation of the trail, but it was not asphalted yet. As I was riding a hybrid thought will bike further to check it out but could not as I had to cross a busy road and it was too much work to get to the other side.
What I noticed is at the traffic light were we start NorthHampton (mear MacDonald's)I saw a board which read " Bike Route". I did not know which bike route it was. Neither did my iphone point out. It was still afternoon and had my endurance still so I continued reading the markers and the sign boards. This path leads to the city roads and further down. I had no clue how far the bike path extended but still was biking.
As always came across a busy street. While waiting to cross, few other bikers joined me.
I happened to ask them which trail it was and how long did the trail extend. I am told that the trail is still under construction, they are building bridges so that it is easy for us to cross. The trail is about 6-7 miles upto East Hampton. Although is not open publicly it is a bikeable. I biked about 3 miles and then returned.

This trail is about .5 miles from my house. I have walked and use this trail for my runs if I do not have my weekend planned. Most of the trail is in shade except for 2 busy street crossings.Heart pond is good place to rest. A lot of people use this trail for walking, running, biking, skating. There are places along the trail where we could get water and some food.
Infact the trail head starts from my work place so I walk on this trail almost every other afternoon.
Its a new, smooth, flat trail.I am hoping that phase 2 & 3 gets completed soon so that it will be one lengthy trail and I can bike on this trail as well.
Well utilized trail.

This trail is aout 11 miles from my house. I never had a chance all these years to go on this trail.
This saturday I decided to bike on the trail. Wow! This is a really good trail.
As it was saturday , the trail was busy. Saw joggers, runners, bikers, walkers, skaters, kids...
Trail is marked where bumpy. I wished my house or my workplace was close more closer to this trail so that I could bike every day. Now wonder this trail was one among the 'Hall of Fame' Trails.

Well, I thought I will walk the trail instead of biking. So I started off as planned to walk about 15 miles and then back. As I was walking I thought it was good if I had bought my bike. This is very good trail to bike.
The path was good. After about 10 miles on the trail it goes off into the woods which is really wonderful.
There are no markers on the trail to give an idea to know how far one has travelled. I carried my pedometer with me so I was able to track the distance.
I walked about 22 miles (to + fro) instead of my 30 mile target in about 6 1/2 hours.
I had parked my car at the Massabesic Lake. After my long walk I took some rest at the lake reading my book which was very refreshing.

I biked the Cheshire North Branch trail the past week. It was a pleasant ride I must say.
This was my first biking on a non-asphalted surface. I enjoyed it. The experience was very different from biking on the road. The views were nice. I particulary remember the one where I had to pass amidst big rocks. It reminded me of the days when we took a train in a mountain region as a kid.
I stopped for a while and looked around .The rocks, the trees, the greenary, the blue sky,the silence gave a peaceful feeling. I had a hard time finding the trail from Keene but luckily I had a map and with the help of a local was able to get through the streets and find the trail.
I did not see many bikers or hikers on the trail , not sure if it was because I was biking on a weekday.
I plan to bike the south branch very soon. (Winchendon -- Keene)
