Hanover Trolley Trail

too cool, too short

July, 2025 by sunnybrookusa

Great trail close to my home so I get to ride it as often as I want. I’m looking forward to another leg being completed and hoping it doesn’t take 10 years. I took my 9 year old twin grand sons on it and they love it too.

Pine Creek Rail Trail

Jersey Shore

671 Rail Road St. Recreational Parking is a great place to park and Start your ride from the south end of Pine Creek Trail. GPS took down slow in town not as nice. I found this one about 2 mile in.

PennDel Trail

Varying conditions throughout

Definitely an adventure on a bike. Some parts are smooth; others are pretty rugged. Just be prepared for some rocks. 10mph feels like flying.

Allegheny River Trail

Franklin to Sunnyslope and back

July, 2025 by vicki1960

River flowing good since recent rains. Biked from Franklin to Sunnyslope and back, 12.5 miles each way for a 25 mile round trip. Not much shade.

Perkiomen Trail

Trail is in great condition

July, 2025 by bermandab

I rode today - 7/6/25 - from Oaks about 3/4 of the way to Green Lane Park and back. My first time on this trail in a couple of years. I know there may have been some extra maintenance after storms recently but I found the condition of the trail to be the just about the best that I can ever remember. I ride a mostly road bike which sometimes struggles if the gravel gets too deep or loose in places, but a really smooth and enjoyable ride start to finish today.

Uwchlan Trail

narrow trail

July, 2025 by benbaliga

The tail is very scenic and fun to ride. But at a few points there are right angle turns to bridges and narrow treat for a shared trail between hiker’s and bike riders.

D&H Rail Trail

I've ridden the trail from Simpson to Buck's Falls which is outside of Starrucca. The trail is well groomed until you hit the other side of Ararat. Then you run into ballast stone and coal silt. No ballast stone or coal silt from Simpson to Ararat.

Northwest Lancaster County River Trail

Fantastic Biking Trail

July, 2025 by joshua.d.waterman

This trail is paved end to end and is incredibly scenic! The trail goes through several small towns along the way and features great views of the river. It is our favorite rail trail in the county. Get out there and experience all this trail has to offer for yourself!

Enola Low Grade Trail

23.5 Miles are Great

July, 2025 by joshua.d.waterman

The Enola Low Grade Trail is a great rail trail for biking and walking. Starting from the Turkey Hill end, the first 6 or so miles are super scenic along the river. Once the trail turns inland it is less scenic but still a very nice ride.

It should be noted that once you reach Hollow Rd east of Quarryville (around mile marker 23 or so), the trail is not particularly bike-friendly and the last mile is so overgrown it's not even really hike-friendly.

The trail is marketed as 29.1 miles, but if you're planning on biking, it is about 23 miles.

Trout Island Trail

A lot of mosquitoes and gnats.

July, 2025 by rsbrocklehurst

We went for a quick family ride with grandkids last night. The trail had a large amount of tall grass on it that had mowed onto the path. The bugs were bad.

Clarion-Little Toby Trail

Nice Trail- has some deep water holes

July, 2025 by carebare552

This trail goes through state game lands, is mostly shady and parallels an active railway. The active railway portion has some deep mudholes. It would be wise to start at Ridgeway as it is uphill to Brockway.

A shady path for a heat intensive day!
