There is another good connection to the Towpath at the east end of the Cabin John Bridge (Wilson Lane) and another connection at Sycamore Store. There are also shops at Glen Echo. At the Anglers Inn end you can extend your ride into Great Falls Park and at the DC end you can connect to the Palisades streets. With the connection to the C & O towpath you can bike all the way to Pittsburg without a cross street and with the connection to the Capital Crescent Trail you can connect to the Rock Creek Trail and the Mount Vernon Trail.
