Located at the Whitehouse Nature Center near Albion College, the Main Trails title describes itself well. This trail leads to and through all other nature center trails starting at the informative Interpretive Building, leading over the East Branch of the Kalamazoo River, and finally to its terminus at 29.5 Mile Road. A beautiful easy-going trail tunneling through a thick covering of deciduous cover with spectacular riparian views at the Kalamazoo River Bridge. Spend a couple hours traveling through the history trail learning about the Nature Center land - bog fires, old mill, barn foundation, Interurban Railroad, quarry, and gravel pit.
