I'm an 11 year-old kid and I love it! I give it a 9 and a half. The only reason it's not a ten is because it's flat and I mean flat! If you like trails, hills, offroad and crazy terrain this is going to boar you to death. You ride by a coulple of farms with cows, horses and goats. Very few cars go by, but they go by veryyy slowlyyy. The whole thing is paved. There are about three main parking areas and one has a General Store. It has a restaurant, rents kayaks, tubes, pony rides, etc... I live on a mountain which is great for mountain biking but if I want to ride with my 8 year old sister this is the best place to do so. Sweet ride!!!!

"Although it is in the Mountains it is a wonderful and easy ride. The locals seem to be aware of the bike traffic and are friendly with the road. Young free wheeling children need to stay close to adults due to curves. For adults and pull along trailers for kids, its a great ride and its fun to watch the river!"

"This trail was not what we expected. We were led to believe this was a paved bike trail between Todd and Fleetwood, NC. What we found was a twisty road not fully two lanes wide with vehicle traffic in both directions and many blind curves. We can bike on the roades at home if we want to share the road with cars and trucks. We didn't think this was a safe trail to bike on so we drove to Virginia and road the Creeper Trail. A wonderful ride, and no vehicles."

Absolutely flat paved surface through some of the most beautiful country in the US. Bring the family and a picnic or stop in Todd at the General Store for refreshment. When the ride is finished put the tube in the river and cool off from this wonderful ride.
