This path is new, smooth, and wide. All good. It is probably faster than the alternative and certainly shorter and flatter. But there are several major streets to cross with push button crosswalks, so it gets a bit choppy to ride. And though it is nicely landscaped, it lacks the natural beauty of the river path.

I would take it anytime I want short and fast over fun and scenic. Hopefully that is not often.

High rating because there is nothing wrong with it. It merely competes with the best path in town.
