This moderately difficult trail features great views of Minister Creek and passes by several outstanding rock outcropings, the latter about 1 mile from the trailhead parking lot. This heavily used trail is marked with white diamonds. The trail connects with the North Country National Scenic trail at its northern extent.
Parking and Trail Access
The trailhead is located on SR 666 next to the Minister Creek Campground, which is 14.7 miles southwest of Sheffield. A restroom is available in the campground.
Just got back from an awesome weekend on the trail. Took a group of scouts did the whole loop on Saturday (big loop). The southern side is a killer and is definitley what makes it rated moderate to difficult.
