Description
Atwood Linear Park provides a short north-south route in southeastern Huntsville near the Flemington Heights and Willowbrook communities.
Turn right (east) on 4 Mile Post Road from the trail's northern terminus and you will shortly arrive at a sprawling shopping and entertainment complex known as Valley Bend at Jones Farm.
At its southern end, the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Valley Hill Country Club offer 27 holes of championship golf.
Parking and Trail Access
Not far from the trail's northern terminus, large parking lots can be found at Valley Bend at Jones Farm (located at the intersection of Carl T. Jones Drive and 4 Mile Post Road). A small lot is also available near the Aldridge Creek Bridge on Four Mile Post Road.
