Description
The trails in Bear River State Park cover nearly 3 miles; 1.2 miles are asphalt and include an arched foot bridge across the Bear River. Another 1.7 miles of packed gravel trails are on the west side of the river.
In winter, cross-country skiing is permitted along the trails, and sometimes the roads, in the 300-acre park. You can also watch wildlife, inline skate, bicycle and picnic in the park. Here you'll find a small captive herd of bison and elk.
Parking and Trail Access
Bear River State Park is located in the extreme southwestern portion of Wyoming, within the city limits of Evanston and just south of exit #6 on I-80, near the Bear River.
