Description
The Beaver Island Trail follows along the Mississippi River from the St. Cloud State University campus south to Montrose Road, joining with a bike route that leads to downtown. The trail traces a bluff, offering scenic views of the river and the forested islands among which the river flows. There are plans to extend the trail another 0.75 mile north to the boat launch at Cathedral High School.

Access the trail at the SCSU campus and at Montrose and Clearwater roads.
