Boise's Ridge to Rivers Trail System is a network of more than 75 miles of trails in the foothills of Boise. The trails form a connected network of roads and single and double-track trails throughout the grassland hills and neighborhoods. Public and private lands are interspersed so trail users are asked to respect private property and stick to the trail network.
The trails range from easy to highly technical, where skill and stamina are necessary to negotiate the sometimes steep paths. For detailed maps of the different trails, visit the Ridge to Rivers
website. You can buy maps of Boise's Ridge to Rivers Trail System for a minimal fee at many outdoor stores and bike shops in town. All proceeds are set aside for future map printings and trail projects.
