Description:
The Bol Park Bike Path is a charmer that threads through a peaceful neighborhood in the hills south of San Francisco. At its heart is Bol Park, a strip of playground and lawn laid alongside Matadero Creek.

No food is available along the trail, but you can find restaurants and grocery stores in nearby area of Palo Alto.

There are no rest rooms available along the route.

Parking & Trail Access:
There is very limited parking along the road at the Hanover Street end point. Parking lots in the area are for private businesses. To reach this end point from the Interstate 280 near Palo Alto, take the Page Mill Road exit and go north on Page Mill Road for about 1.5 miles to Porter Drive. Turn right (southeast) on Porter Drive, which bends to the northeast and becomes Hanover Street. Drive a total of about 0.9 mile to the trailhead, which is wedged between the parking lots of two businesses on the right (southeast) side of Hanover Street.

There is parking at Bol Park itself, which can be reached by continuing down Page Mill Road to El Camino Real. Turn right (southeast) on El Camino Real and follow it to Matadero Avenue. Turn right (southwest) on Matadero Avenue, and proceed to Laguna Avenue. Go left (southeast) on Laguna Avenue for a short distance to the park.
