Description:
The Cadiz Railroad Trail, located in Trigg County, is a 2.5 mile long asphalt trail, beginning at the site of the original railroad depot at KY-139N. The 10-mile Cadiz Railroad was built in 1901 to haul tobacco to Gracey in Christian County, where it connected with the Illinois Central and Louisville & Nashville railroads.

Dedicated in 1989, the Cadiz Railroad Trail was the first rail-trail in Kentucky. The trail is located just north of the downtown area, and trail uses include hiking, jogging, biking, rollerblading and skateboarding.
