Description
Travel through the orchards south of Chico on this path that runs toward Durham on the abandoned Sacramento Northern RR right-of-way. The trail is popular in the college town that has a rapidly expanding trail network. The Sacramneto Northern Railroad ran commuter service from the northern Sacramento valley through Sacramento and into the Bay Area. Various sections of the right-of-way have been converted to trail use.
