The paved Coyner Trail runs for about a mile between two community parks, both about 20 acres. On the southern end is Ponderosa Park, where there are sports fields, a skate park, restrooms, and off-leash areas for dogs. A short sidewalk connection from the trail’s northern end leads to Juniper Park, which offers a swim and fitness center, playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, and restrooms.
Parking is available on the trail’s southern end in Ponderosa Park (225 SE 15th Street), and on the trail’s northern end at Juniper Park (800 NE 6th Street).
