The Deer Grove Trail runs through the Forest Preserve of the same name and includes a paved trail, nearly 4 miles long, that links to the
Palatine Trail system. In the forest preserve there are also several trails for mountain bikers.
The main entrance to Deer Grove Forest Preserve is off the west side of Quentin Road between Dundee and Lake-Cook roads in Palatine.
