The Dillon Dam Rec Path offers a scenic 6-mile route along the shores of the Dillon Reservoir in the White River National Forest. If you begin your journey at Marina Park in Dillon, you'll head west on the trail, or you can travel southeast to Keystone on the
Snake River Rec Path.
At Dillon Dam Road, you'll turn southwest along the roadway and enjoy exceptional views of the lake and Keystone Mountain. The south end of the trail parallels Summit Boulevard through Frisco, where you can pick up the
Blue River Bikeway near the roadway's intersection with Peak One Boulvard; on this trail, you can continue your journey another 11 miles southeast to Breckenridge. From the Bikeway, you can also access the
Frisco-Farmer's Korner Recreation Trail, which runs along the south side of town to the
Ten Mile Canyon National Recreation Trail, a 22-mile rail-trail that heads toward Vail.
Parking is available in Dillon's Marina Park (along the south side of Lodgepole Street) and at the Frisco Bay Marina Park (at Summit Boulvard and Main Street).
This trail is nestled in the Colorado high peaks between Keystone, Copper and Breckenridge. For being in the mountains, it is relatively flat, but there are many small ups and down to make it a good 12mile round trip workout. Beautiful scenery all along ...
