The Duck Creek Trail follows its namesake waterway along the length of Duck Creek Linear Park on Richardson's eastern side. The park offers benches, drinking fountains and scenic places to picnic. The trail is also situated near Dartmouth Elementary and Apollo Junior High, providing children with a safe route to school. From the trail's northern end, travelers can continue north on the
Owens Trail, which runs just over a mile.
Parking can be found at nearby Huffhines Park (1500 Apollo Road).
A short, but nice scenic and clean trail, paved and well maintained. Ties into Huffhines park and Owens trail. Beautiful creek, and in the spring, it's very common to see ducklings following their mothers around-so cute. I would give it 5 stars, except ...
