Description

The park is a short (less than 1 mile) but well developed paved bikeway, that will eventually connect to the Lititz-Warwick trailway. It has been built on the former Reading & Columbia shortline Railroad and includes connections to schools, basketball courts and naturalized park areas. Plans call for the trail to eventually connect to the Lititz-Warwick Trail in Lancaster County. From the Boro Web Site: "Linear Park Trail is approximately 4,800 linear feet of trail on the abandoned railway bed between East Fulton Street and Sycamore Road at Pointview Avenue. A twelve foot wide macadam trail with site lighting, benches, trash receptacles, and landscaping".
