Description
The FM 2305 Hike & Bike Trail travels east from St. Andrews Place along its namesake roadway to its end at West Loop 363 on the western outskirts of Temple.
Mid-trail, you'll come to West Temple Park, which offers plentiful recreational amenities, including volleyball and basketball courts, a playground, a splash pad and picnic shelters. Shortly after crossing West Hillyard Road, the path also connects to the Pepper Creek Trail, which meanders a mile northward through a wooded area.
Future plans include extending the trail west to FM 2271 from St. Andrews Place. This would connect the trail to Lakewood Elementary School, offering students a safe route to school.
