Riding alongside the busy Fountaingrove Parkway, this trail is physically separated from the road with a curb and row of trees/shrubs. Riding from the Redwood Highway (101) eastward along the Parkway, this trail provides direct access to Agilent Technologies campus, a large employer, as well as many neighborhoods. Additionally providing access to parks such as the Nagasawa Community Park and Parker Hill Open Space, the Fountaingrove Parkway Trail services both the professional and leisure needs of Santa Rosa's northern neighborhoods.
The trail continues along the Fountaingrove Parkway as a Class II surface (with occasional Class I widened sidewalks) for an additional 2.5 miles to its terminus at Brush Creek Road, providing access to nearby Brush Creek Trail.
Parking is available at Nagasawa Community Park (1313 Fountaingrove Parkway) on the west side of Fountaingrove Parkway. Trail-goers will need to cross the busy roadway to access the trail, so use caution and utilize one of the well-marked crosswalks.
