Description:
The Frisco Greenway Trail runs along a portion of the former St. Louis & San Francisco Railroad, which played an important role in the development of Joplin and Webb City. The corridor was donated by Burlington Northern to Jasper County for development as a recreational trail.

The facility, in operation since 1992, has served to preserve scenic woodlands and prairies in an area undergoing rapid residential development.

For more information, please contact the Joplin Trails Coalition at P.O. Box 2102, Joplin, MO 64803.

"Peddled my Tri-Cruiser on this Trail Aug 15,2006 mid-afternoon. Trail in fine shape with bollards wide apart to allow my 41 inch Tadpole Trike through. Country, residential & swimming hole scenery."
