The Goose Creek Greenway offers a major east-west route through Boulder. Note that there is little shade along the way and the pathway runs through busy commercial areas, including the Villa Shopping Center.
On the trail's western end, you can access the East Mapleton Park and Ball Fields, as well as
Elmer's Two Mile Creek Greenway. At its eastern end, the trail forks; go north to explore Valmont Bike Park, or head south to hop on the
Boulder Creek Path, which can take you downtown and to the University of Colorado.
A parking lot is available off Airport Road on the western border of Valmont Bike Park. Another is available at East Mapleton Park and Ball Fields (2838 Mapleton Avenue).
Starting at Carpenter Park, head east on Boulder Creek trail to the end at Arapahoe, then out and back on Wonderland and Cottonwood trails, then out and back on Goose Creek trail, then out and back on Skunk Creek and Bear Creek trails, then back to Carpenter ...
