The GreshamFairview Trail is a northsouth corridor that will one day link Portland's 40-Mile Loop Trail (
Marine Drive section) with the
Springwater Trail's section through Gresham. As of spring 2012 the trail runs for a little more than 3 miles between the Springwater Trail and NE Halsey Street in Gresham. Plans are underway to finish the remaining 2 miles north to Marine Drive in Portland.
The GreshamFairview Trail will also provide access to nature areas along Johnson Creek, Fairview Creek, Columbia Slough and the Columbia River.
Access the trail at both the north and south end points. There is no official parking but on-street parking is available in Gresham.
This is a nice not-too-long spur off of the Springwater Corridor Trail. The day we rode it (and I suspect always) it was not nearly as crowded as the SCT. It's also flat, except for 2 or 3 small hills (one being the Powell Blvd. overpass.) A couple of ...
