Description:
The JWP Trail follows along the south side of John Wesley Powell Boulevard between the eastern end of where the boulevard currently ends (as of 2011) and Lake Mary Road. Where the trail intersects South Lone Tree Road, you can pass under the boulevard and pick up the Lone Tree Trail. At the eastern end, the JWP Trail intersects with the Fisher Point Trail.

There are plans to extend the trail as new sections of J.W. Powell Boulevard are built, both at the west end between Lake Mary Road and Fort Tuthill and at the east end between the current boulevard terminus and Butler Avenue.

Parking & Trail Access:
A formal parking area and trailhead are located just north of J.W. Powell Boulevard where it intersects Lone Tree Road.
