King Avenue East Trail Description

The King Avenue East Trail, in southwestern Billings, provides a half-mile concrete route along the south side of the roadway with access to a busy commercial subdivision at its eastern end. It's hoped that one day the trail will continue east to provide a valuable link to Ponderosa Elementary School.

From its western end, you can head north along the South Billings Boulevard Trail, or cross King Avenue and travel west along the sidewalk to reach Amend Park, which offers a recreational facility, soccer fields and picnic sites.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at Amend Park (4800 King Avenue East) near the trail's western end, or in the commercial area at the eastern end of the trail.

King Avenue East Trail Reviews

Short and Sweet

It’s really nice if you don’t have much time or just want a short walk it’s great. Only downside is it’s next to a busy street.
