Description
The Lacamas Heritage Trail parallels Lacamas Creek and the western shore of Lacamas Lake under a canopy of old growth forest. Along this scenic gravel pathway, trail-goers can catch glimpses of the abundant wildlife in the area and enjoy views of the lake, waterfalls and interesting rock formations.
Parking and Trail Access
To approach the trail from its southern end, take SR 14 to SR 500 in Camas; turn north on SR 500 to NW Lake Rd. Take a left on Lake Rd. The boat launch/trailhead will be 0.3 miles further on the right. A large parking lot and restrooms and are available here.
There is also a trailhead at the upper trail end at NE Goodwin Rd. and NW Underwood St. in Mill Plain, WA.
