Description
The Lima Rotary Riverwalk trail follows the southeast bank of the meandering Ottowa River between Heritage Park southwest of Lima and Schoonover Park northeast of city center. At its north end, the scenic trail circles the lake at Schoonover Park; at its midpoint, the trail makes a loop around Hoover and Collett Street parks; and at its southern end, a loop around Heritage Park's woodlands.
Along the route, you'll find access to more city parks, neighborhoods and downtown Lima.
Parking and Trail Access
Park at Heritage Park (2092 Reed Rd.), Collett Street Park (880 S Collett St.) and Schoonover Park (Findlay Rd. at McCullough St.).

Started at Ottawa Park off of Ada Rd. and rode to Heritage Park in Shawnee. (We did not ride to Schoonover Park.) Trail condition was excellent. We rode the road tandem and had no trouble negotiating the turns. In town, the trail goes under the cross ...

This trail is awesome. If you start in Ottawa Metro and go to Heritage maybe taking in the side parks you can get a great workout and have great scenery. There are hills, turns and straights. I am new at biking and need to work on turns and hill climbing ...
