Description

Built on an abandoned corridor of the Reading Railroad, the Lititz/Warwick Trailway traverses developed and agricultural land in the township and the borough of Lititz. The trail is a walking, jogging, biking, and cross-country skiing destination for the community. It is used for recreation and as a corridor linking residential areas to schools, workplaces, and outdoor venues including Lititz Run Creek Greenway, a linear park . that extends from Lititz to Warwick Township. There are two restored 18th century buildings along the trail with interpretive signage to tell their story. They are privately held but can be viewed from the trail. The only parking for this trail is at the Warwick Township Municipal Complex.

Parking and Trail Access

From Lancaster, PA: Follow Route 501 North to Lititz. Turn right (east) onto Route 772 (Main St.). Turn left onto Clay Road and follow up the hill to the Warwick Township Municipal Complex on the right. Parking is available all around the municipal building, the trail entrance is directly across Clay Road. This trail is wheelchair accessible.
