Longleaf Access Trail Description

The Longleaf Access Trail is a short connector trail between the Tall Timbers Trail and Longleaf Trail. It is part of a larger system of greenways in the community of Southern Pines in Moore County, North Carolina.

Parking and Trail Access

You can park along Hunter Trail Road. From the Pinehurst traffic circle, take the exit toward Southern Pines for SR 2 East; turn left at Knoll Road. Continue to Hunter Trail Road and park near the pond.

southern pine greenway connector

We rode from southern pine and connected with 2 other trails there are maps at the trailhead We rode two of the three connectors. The third connector is a paved road that goes around the third lake? Our two loops was 13 miles. Hilly and patches of deep sand. Great ride!
