Los Angeles River Trail

This 7-mile trail is part of the Los Angeles River Greenway. The Los Angeles River is 51 miles long, starting at the Western end of the San Fernando Valley and flowing into the Pacific Ocean in Long Beach. There are plans to build trails, parks and nature reserves along the banks of the river. Elysian Valley Gateway Park is found along this stretch of the river and provides access to the natural streambed portion of the river. This is a great spot for viewing the variety of birds that call this park home.
