Description
The Matthew Henson Trail runs along a paved surface (rough in places from tree roots) through a narrow band of forested green space between the Rock Creek Trail just south of Veirs Road and Alderton Road at Norwest Branch Park. Parking and Trail Access
Parking and access are available at Winding Creek Park (intersection of Edgebrook Rd. and Charles Rd.), at Georgia and Hewitt Avenues (behind the Global Mission Church), west of Layhill Road at Middlevale Lane and at Layhill Village Park (Queensguard Rd.).
