The best ride and access for this trail is to drive to the Northeast corner of the new Redstone shopping center. Lots of parking next to the recreation center you will find there. Trail access is at the East end of the recreation center... Ride from there all the way to the Windy Ridge Cafe and have a great lunch, beer, glass of wine or all three!... :) Great food at reasonable prices and a wonderful outside flowered patio. Also, Historic Old Park City is only about a mile more up a slightly steeper ride..... Best pathway is just East of Windy Ridge Cafe...... Climb to Windy Ridge is a leisurely 100 ft and about 5 miles..... Beautiful trail that cuts through a number of upscale neighborhoods (dedicated trails, no street side riding) and along the beautiful and secluded McLeod Creek. Watch for the wild trout, beaver and many song birds along the way and try NOT to fall off of your bike while doing so... :). Great roughly 30 minute coast from Windy Ridge all the way back to Redstone...

The McLeod Creek Trail starts 60 feet north of Snow Creek Dr., N40.66220 -111.51053 off the west entrance to Snow Creek Medical Center in Park City. Merges with the Olympic Parkway Trail descending along McLeod Creek for 1.1 mile to Meadows Dr., then parallels Hwy 224 for 0.4 mile to the Farm Trailhead. N40.67839 -111.52519
At 0.6 mile northwest of Farm Trailhead it turns right off asphalt on to packed dirt/rock straight North along McLeod Creek, by Beaver Dams and Sculptures, crossing McLeod Creek to turn west 0.1 mile off the Creek, then north 0.4 mile along the old D&RGW right away to Old Ranch Rd., Asphalt in excellent condition and packed dirt/gravel surface very suitable for 3 wheel cycle.
