Located in Shawnee, a suburb of Kansas City, the Midland Drive Path offers a paved mile-long east-west route paralleling the southern side of its namesake roadway through the city. Views are a mix of commercial and residential areas. There's a shopping center at one end. At Lackman Road, you can connect to Blackfish Parkway Trail to continue east, or get on the Lackman Road Path to go north or south.
Parking can be found in the large shopping area at the trail's western end (off Renner Road).
