Mobile Airport Perimeter Trail Description

On the southern end of Mobile, a short paved trail runs from Doyle Park, along the edge of the city's airport, to the waterfront. The park makes a nice place to begin with parking, restrooms, and picnic tables. From there, the trail parallels Perimeter Road until its end at Bayfront Road, a quiet two-lane street with views of Mobile Bay.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking and restrooms are available in Doyle Park (1728 Rosedale Road).

confusing.

Not well marked beginning. Bathroom was locked!

Great

This trail runs along the perimeter of the Brookley airport. It is quiet and secluded as it runs behind houses. Most riders extend it by riding along the bay road to the park. It has little to no traffic and is perfect for road bikes.
