Description:
This portion of the MoPac Trail sits on a former Missouri Pacific Railroad bed and connects Springfield to Louisville as it runs southward along Highway 50 through farmland and wooded areas on its way to the Platte River. Future plans include a connection to the MoPac Trail East, which stretches south to Lincoln.
