Description

The Flambeau Trail system in the Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest has 60 miles worth of multi-use trails open to both motorized and non-motorized uses. The trails follow rolling terrain through forests and among bogs and lakes. You'll find primitive campgrounds, one near unique Smith Rapids covered bridge. The trails are located throughout the Park Falls unit of the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District in Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Parking and Trail Access

The Park Falls unit of the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District in Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is located west of Rhinelander. Take Wisconsin Trunk Road 70 west toward Sailor Lake.
