Oak Valley Trail Description

As the name suggests Oak Valley Trail is a trail slightly over two miles tucked within a valley of Oak trees. These wonderful trees provide not only incredible scenery, but the perfect shade for those hot Texas summers. The Transportation Department made this trail possible with a grant. Oak Valley Trail is only one part of a planned trail network, with the goal of enhancing pedestrian commuting.

Oak Valley Trail Reviews

very nice and peaceful

Love the trail! Has shade and full sun spots. So use your sunscreen and a hat. Slow incline for your first two miles. Walk back is great! Got my 10,000 steps in! Beautiful day! Great people You meet along the way! ¿¿

it’s Burleson

This is really the only long trail that Burleson has to offer.

Nice Trail

This trail is not too bad. There’s a small parking lot on Oak Valley Park North. There’s a couple small hills that make it easier to ride. The uphill on the way back to the park was a little tough. My 7yr old daughter had to walk it back up.

Run with My Grandson

This is a great trail. Ran it today with my grandson as we train for the Dallas Half Marathon. Slight up hill run when you start off of Scott street and a great easy run back. Very nice!

Nicely Maintained Short Trail

We didn't know this trail existed in our area until I got the TrailLink app. Very well-maintained concrete trail that has parking at both ends. The trail is slightly uphill starting in the Old Town area, so we were glad we went that way since we could coast most of the way back. Fun ride!
