The Pennsy Greenway begins at the south end of the south segment of the
Burnham Greenway in Calumet City on the eastern edge of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Green Lake Woods. It proceeds south to Bernice Road, crosses under I-80/94 and continues southeast to the Illinois-Indiana state line. Soon Munster, Indiana, will build a connection from the state line to its bike trail at Fisher Street. This network will also connect to the proposed 10-mile Indiana portion of the Pennsy Greenway.
Exit I-94 at 159th Street East, proceed 1.6 miles to Green Lake Woods on the north side of 159th. Parking and trail access is available from here.
