Description
The trail is maintained by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and has several overlooks of Lake Michigan. It is an extensive trail system through diverse habitat.
Parking and Trail Access
Directions: North of Platte Lake off M22. South trailhead at Platte River campground. North trailhead west end of Esch Road, 1 mile west of M22 and 3.5 miles south of Empire. Central trailhead just south of Trails End Road and M22 intersection.
