Description:
From www.openspaceproject.org/projects/project5.htm: Presently, Railroad Run connects West Circular Street to Congress Avenue. This half mile trail is enjoyed by people of all ages for a wide range of activities including walking, bicycling, roller blading and skate boarding.

While the trail is presently a half-mile, Railroad Run is central to the Saratoga Springs Open Space. Railroad Run will be vital for creating a network of trails throughout Saratoga Springs and Saratoga County. The Saratoga Springs Open Space Project (www.openspaceproject.org) is currently working to extend the trail south to West Avenue. At West Avenue, the trail will cross Route 50 and enter Saratoga Spa State Park. From there, the trail will follow the county sewer right-of-way and connect to the Saratoga Heritage Trail Network, including the Zim Smith Trail in Malta.
