Roland L. Dolly Memorial Recreational Trail Description

The Roland L. Dolly Memorial Recreational Trail sits on the western bank of the Missouri River. The concrete trail is named for a Lyman County native son who perished alongside Governor Michelson in a 1993 plane crash (a plaque on the trail tells his story). It is therefore fitting the the Roland L. Dolly trail parallels the George Michelson Shoreline Drive, stretching between Cedar Shore Campground and I-90BL.  The pathway offers wide views of the river, as well as opportunities for bird-watching.

Parking and Trail Access

A small parking area can be found across I-90BL from the southern end of the trail.
